Detection Automatically detects the pixel grid originally used. Pixel size 0 determines the pixel size automatically.

Advanced

Correction Adjust background and edge detection only when needed.

Background Preserve leaves the original background color unchanged. Edge detection Standard detects clear pixel edges without additional fine tuning.

Cleanup Soft color transitions are grouped while shape, resolution, and alpha remain unchanged.

Soft color gradients Higher strength groups more similar shades.

Partial transparency Binary alpha turns partial transparency into transparent or opaque pixels using the alpha threshold. Transparent RGB values Removes invisible color values only from pixels that are already fully transparent.

Advanced

Findings and animation Analyze or selectively reduce findings to unambiguous pixel values.

Isolated pixels Only replaces pixels whose four direct neighbors share the same different color. Antialiasing intermediate colors Only replaces opaque colors that lie between two direct edge colors. Small color islands One border color must make up at least 75% of the direct surroundings. Maximum island size Range: 2 to 16 pixels. Palette deviations Considers colors that occur no more than twice. Palette deviation tolerance Lower values only detect very similar deviations.

Temporal animation findings Analysis covers the entire animation; corrections only apply to the selected frame range.

Correction scope The current frame is captured when processing starts. Grid jumps Only applies when a ±1-pixel alignment is clearly better. Alpha jumps Reports identical RGB values with different alpha. Palette jumps Reports nearby RGB colors with unchanged alpha. Single-pixel jumps The previous and next frame must match at this position.

Grid detection and color selection Fine tune technical values only when needed.

Minimum coverage Higher values require more opaque source area.

Detection scale Upstream default: 2×.

Color tolerance Upstream default for color selection without a palette: 52.

Color and transparency Shared output rules for the selected tool.

Maximum color count Unlimited preserves all calculated colors; a number reduces the palette. Transparency threshold (0–255) Affects transparent output in Recover and Convert, and Cleanup when binary alpha is selected.

Output Review and scale the active version, then save it as a new file.

Export format

Output size Workspace zoom does not change the exported file.
